As a part of the national war effort, the YMCA wrote and published morale boosting newspapers in training camps throughout the country “For Army Men and Their Home Folks.” Frank Hines of the 122 Field Artillery Band, Camp Logan, Houston, Texas drew this cartoon. The Harris County Archives has six issues of Trench and Camp published at Camp Gordon, Atlanta, Georgia, between January 14 and March 4, 1918.
