Description: 

Three piece child's plaid taffeta dress. Bodice (a) has round yoke trimmed with a ruffle and green braid. It opens down the front with three green covered buttons. White muslin collar with black bow. A green button at each cuff. Skirt (b) is full and gathered onto a brown band. Hook and eye closures. Apron (c) trimmed with ruffles and green braid. The taffeta is black, blue, red and green with horizontal red, white, gold and green stripes. Made by Mrs. R. P. Dollins of Navasota, Texas, circa 1870.
